Olympus Corporation has entered a global partnership with health technology company Proximie to integrate advanced digital solutions into operating rooms worldwide.
Olympus aims to enhance clinical collaboration by offering Proximie’s cloud-based platform, which enables real-time video, audio, and imaging sharing for remote consulting and teaching opportunities in surgery.
The Proximie platform is designed to connect physicians, surgeons, and students across regions, promoting continuous learning and improved operational practices in ORs. The company’s device-agnostic technology enables seamless integration with existing equipment, allowing hospitals to facilitate training sessions and remote consultations in real-time from any device.
